Hi, my name is Elsa and welcome to Pern. Sit down, have a cup of Klah. What are you staring at? Close your mouth and don't stare at Clar. He is ONLY a Firelizard, like you haven't seen one before. You don't know what Pern is???? Well, Pern is a planet...next to the Red Star, which is another planet. It's not really a star. Every time the Red Star comes close, Thread (They look like snakes falling from the sky)drops from the sky. Thread burns and kills everything it touches. Pern has just one advantage. We have dragons. Our dragons can burn the thread before it touched the ground. I am a dragon rider. Meaning I help defeat the thread. I ride green Judith. She is a green dragon.
